Choosing what to Digitize
1. Click the Digitize button on the left
menu to start digitizing.
2. The digitizing options will appear in the top digitizing window.
3. Choose the Area option to digitize and
calculate areas.
4. Choose the Area and perimeter option to
calculate the area and perimeter (length around edge of
digitized area).
5. Choose the Length option to calculate
lengths.
6. Choose the Line segments option to
digitize 2 points and calculate the distance in between.
Multiple line segments can be digitized and the resulting length
of each segment calculated.
7. Choose the Sum Line Segments option to
calculate the total length of several line segments. |
