1. There are 3 ways to perform cost
estimates in the software.
2. The first method is to input a unit cost
in the digitizing options
digitize the item, view the results table
and the program multiples the unit cost by the digitized area.
3. The second method is to click the
advanced features button.
The Advanced Features window will then appear. Costs can be
computed from the digitized results and input unit costs.
4.The third method is to copy the digitized results to Excel and
compute estimates in Excel. To copy the results to excel,
click the results button to display all the digitized results on screem, start Excel and choose the range of cells to receive the
data, click the Fast Takeoffs tablet, and click the Excel button
to copy the results into Excel.
