How to Trace Outlines using the Logic Pattern Trace Software

and a Digitizing Tablet

 

Continuous Tracing	Lines and Arcs
Place the object on the digitizing tablet, start Logic Trace software, choose to trace continuously, place the pen stylus on the edge, press down on the tip, trace the outline, save the DXF file	Choose in the Logic Trace Software to trace using lines and arcs, digitize three points for the cone, in the software switch to arcs, digitize mid point and end point of arc, save dxf file
Circles	Smooth Curve Fitting
Digitize any three points on the edge of a circle to define a circle	Trace outline using a series of points and curve fit a Bezier smooth curve between the points
Multiple Lines and Arcs	Gasket Tracing
Trace an outline with multiple lines and arcs	Add inside circles for a gasket
Molding
Trace a marble molding for cutting
