New Digitizer Driver

for Windows 7 (and ALL versions of Windows)

Many clients are reporting a problems with using the Tabletworks Wintab digitizing driver

in Windows. In the newest version of Plan Plus and Plan we recommend

NOT using the Tabletworks Wintab driver. We have new direct digitizer communication

for all digitizers, serial and usb connections, and all versions of Windows.

This new driver interface will greatly reduce problems with communicating

with digitizers and hopefully should be 100% trouble free.

Improved support of Windows 7 & Vista

One Window on Task Bar

Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012 have been optimized to run under Windows 7 and Windows Vista (while maintaining support for older versions of Windows),  support for both 32 bit and 64 bit computers, faster running, better printer support.

An added benefit is the program now is one window on the task bar instead of 5 windows with

 the older versions.

Hill Top and Sink Hole Bottom Values

Users can now specify the top thickness of each hill on multiple hill maps and the bottom depth for each sink hole, resulting in more accurate volumetrics.

On Screen Plan is now part of Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012

On Screen Plan and Scanner Plan have been added directly to Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012. With the old version of the software users traced a contour map on screen using On Screen Plan, saved the map, loaded the map into Plan or Plan Plus and calculated results. In Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012 all digitizing whether done with the digitizing tablet or a map on screen is done in Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012.

Additional Import/Export Capabilities

We have added additional file formats for importing and exporting into Plan Plus 2012.

Improved 3D Graphics

We have improved the 3D Graphics in Plan Plus 2012.

More Setup Options

Many additional setup options have been added including the ability to not use user setup files and color options in printed reports and on screen displays.

Online Manual Added

The Plan 2012 and Plan Plus 2012 manual has been changed from a .hlp hile accessed in the software to an online manual that can be easily printed if needed.

Additional Digitizer Support

We have added additional driver support for The Logic Group TLG Series digitizers, the Wintab WT Series digitizers, Starter ST Series Digitizers, Numonics Digitizers, Sonic Digitizers and improved the support for GTCO digitizers. We have added the support of USB cables for digitizers not using the wintab driver.

2009 Update Features

In the 2009 update we added the ability to curve fit contours through digitized points for more accurate digitizing ("Accu-Trace Digitizing"), added user accounts, latest windows, computer hardware, and digitizer compatibilities, added a network version of the software, and new volume calculations.

2007 Update Features

In the 2007 update we added an on-digitizer menu for faster and more convenient digitizing, pdf output for reports, new gas calculations, and further windows and digitizer support.

2005 Expert Update Features

"Expertise Assistance":

• Does the total area of the contours decrease as the isopach thickness increases

• Was the correct map scale used

• Was the tablet resolution set correctly

• Were proper values used to compute OOIP and OGIP

• Are the areas and volumes of the leases proportional to the whole map

• Are the sink holes digitized correctly

• What value should be used for the top thickness
