Take-Off Digitizing Software in Excel

Digitize areas, lengths, and counts from blueprints and plans and input results into MS Excel. Converts the area and lengths to the scale of the map or drawing. Units can be any distance and area units including inches, feet, miles, cm, m, km, sq in, sq ft, sq mi, sq cm, sq m, etc. Scale can be any scale, eg 100 ft/in, 1000 km/cm, 1:8, etc. Shape may be digitized point to point or continuously by holding the button on the cursor or stylus

The program uses a digitizing tablet to input points on a drawing, map, blueprint, graph, etc.

Here is how the software works:

In the excel spreadsheet, go to the cell where you would like to place the digitized data
Place the item to be digitized on the tablet
Start the Excel Take-off Digi software program
Input the scale units
Input the scale
Choose to digitize area, length, or counts
Digitize the item
The software calculates the item from the digitized data. Repeat for other items.
Press the Excel button in the software
The Take-Off results are inserted into the Excel spreadsheet
