The program uses a digitizing tablet to input shapes on a drawing, map, blueprint, graph, etc. Here is how the software works:

Digitize any shape on the tablet and
calculate the area and perimeter of the shape. Converts the area to
the scale of the map or drawing. Units can be any distance and area units
including inches, feet, miles, cm, m, km, sq in, sq ft, sq mi, sq cm,
sq m, etc. Scale can be any scale, eg
100 ft/in, 1000 km/cm, 1:8, etc. Shape may be digitized point to point
or continuously by holding the button on the cursor or stylus
