What is iScaf

iScaf is a computer aided design software package which draws PLAN, SECTIONAL and 3D DRAWINGS of your scaffold and counts all the components automatically for you in a fraction of the time it would take to do manually.

iScaf draws the structure in 3D complete with boards, braces, handrails etc., then calculates component quantity lists as well as labor estimates and truck allocations.

iScaf is designed to work with all modular and frame scaffold systems. Popular scaffolding systems already available include European and American Frames, Cuplock, Layher, Kwikstage, Plettac and popular derivatives.

What scaffold systems can iScaf handle?

Almost any type of scaffold system. For example, we have already created Custom Modules for Layher, Kwikstage, Etobicoke, SafTGreen, Frames and many more.

Does iScaf use imperial or metric measurements?

Yes. iScaf can use imperial and metric for drawings.

What types of scaffold structures can iScaf draw?

iScaf can scaffold almost any type of building structure possible including, Tanks, Boilers, Interior Perimeters, Dance Floors, Bird Cages, Arc Structures and many more. Some of the more difficult structures may require a more advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.

Does iScaf work with Tube and Clamp?

Not at the moment.

Does iScaf work with Shoring?

Yes, but iScaf does not perform engineering calculations.

Is iScaf able to be customized?

Yes, Sericon Scaftech has a programming division which can customize our software to your specific requirements. Please call us and let us know what your requirements are.

Is iScaf integrated with iRent?

Yes. An iScaf quote can be easily converted to an order.

How does iScaf work with AutoCAD?

iScaf is available in two versions:

Full iScaf : works together with AutoCAD and must be purchased with AutoCAD. It is recommended for the advanced CAD user who would like to be able to scaffold any structure imaginable with the full power of an industry standard CAD package.

iScaf Lite: has AutoCAD Release 12 built into it so that AutoCAD does not need to be purchased separately. This version does not contain the AutoCAD command prompt so it is not a "quick" for the advanced CAD user but ideal for a sales person or estimator. Unlike the full iScaf, iScaf Lite will not work with a digitizing tablet.
