Overview

The GEOCAD mapping software is a full featured mapping system with sophisticated CAD and data acquisition capabilities. GEOCAD is designed to interface with The Rat portable digitizer or any Wintab supported digitizing tablet. Using GEOCAD's powerful data import and conversion facilities map data can be combined from any source you have available - data vendors, original digital records or paper copies. Compiling base map data has never been so easy.

For example you can compile a complete base map by purchasing the culture grid. Next, you might add the well locations and well picks from a different vendor. Third, you could import your original seismic survey locations and interpreted horizon values from your archives. Finally to top it all off you would be able to digitize late breaking well and seismic locations direct from paper maps to completely up date your map. GEOCAD lets all of these data come together easily and seamlessly.

Top it off with our smooth GEOCAD to Surfer interface and you will be quickly producing sophisticated contour maps.
