bundled version and the retail version?

Does MediaStudio Pro 7 support
MPEG-2, DV and IEEE 1394? |

Yes. MediaStudio Pro 7 offers
complete MPEG-2 support. Using Ulead MPEG.Now MPEG software
compression technology, MediaStudio Pro 7 can capture IBP frame MPEG-2
video if the capture card supports YUV or RGB data capture. In
addition, it can perform MPEG-2 frame-accurate editing and output
high-quality MPEG-2 files.
MediaStudio Pro 7 also offers complete DV and IEEE 1394 (Firewire)
support, through Texas Instruments (OHCI) and Microsoft DV drivers, to
control devices, capture and edit DV, then record back to DV tape.
MediaStudio Pro 7 may also have legacy support for many DV cards, such
as Canopus DVRex-M1, DVRaptor, FAST DV Master, etc.

Will the Real-time features work on
my computer? |

Processing full-motion, full-color
video is very hard work for a computer. If your system has a slower
processor and less RAM, you may find that there is a slight delay
before playback starts, or some frames are dropped, or not all video
streams are played back in real-time. However, if you have a processor
of P4 2GHz level, plus at least 256MB of RAM, you should get realtime
playback of up to five streams comprising two video tracks, a
transition, a filter and a title. However, many factors will influence
this, such as the complexity of the transition or filters you are
using, the level of optimization of your system, and so forth. Make
sure that your system is optimized at all times – have a look at our
