Questions and Answers Refurbished/Used Digitizers
What condition are most of the used/refurbished digitizers? My used digitizers look brand new. Great condition. I don't have an age but I would guess about 5 years. A digitizer has no moving parts (unlike a for example printer) and lasts a very, very long time. Also technology has not changed in a digitizer in 20 years. This DB3 is exactly the same as a new db6. I also have sold many of these for use with paydirt , works great. I actually prefer a DB3 to a newer board. It has formica on both the front and back, very hard to break. The newer boards have a thinner front and cardboard back. They did this to make the board lighter and cheaper to transport. The boards come with a one year replacement warranty, 30 day money back guarantee AND an offer that you can upgrade at any time to a new board. I sell over 300 large boards a year, last year only 2 were returned.
Do the used digitizers come with a cursor or pen stylus? The used digitizers come with all parts - the digitizer board, a pen stylus or cursor, cables, 110 or 220 power supply, wintab driver, and $500 of free digitizing software. A complete system.
What kind of warranty comes with a used/refurbished digitizer?
Our digitizers have a 1 year
replacement warranty and 30 day moneyback guarantee. A digitizer has no
moving parts and thus usually last a very, very long time. I still am
using my first one I bought - 24 years ago. |
