Well Log Interpretation and Field Site Evaluation

With log analysts on staff, The Logic Group can perform complete well log interpretations for individual wells or field studies. Analysis can be performed for a variety of formations including carbonates, shaly sands, and shales. The analysis will take into account all available information, including core and lab data, and a report will provide results giving depths of potential hydrocarbon bearing zones, average porosity water saturation and bulk volume water in these zones, depth by depth log calculations, and potential reserves if extent of reservoir is available. Field studies which contain wells drilled at various times can be interpreted by comparing and correlating old well logs with modern logs. Analyses can be performed on old E-logs to search for passed over zones which may be productive.

Besides detailed log interpretation, The Logic Group can research prospective field sites obtaining pertinent data from state sources and performing the technical analyses to recommend drilling sites and estimate possible reserves.
